Welcome to Beehive Preparatory School,

I am delighted that you have found our website and I hope that it gives you a taste of this remarkable school and why it continues to thrive.

From the moment I first visited Beehive Prep, I was struck by its unique and inclusive environment where each child is safe, happy and able to realise their full potential. It is a school I am both honoured and excited to lead from December 2025.

As a small school, Beehive is able to offer a bespoke education, providing each child with a unique pathway to personal and academic success. This intimate setting allows us to truly know every child and nurture their individual strengths.

I am particularly proud that we are a Cambridge International School, offering a well-respected and challenging curriculum with Year 6 children sitting internationally recognised qualifications. Being part of the Cambridge family genuinely sets us apart from other schools, both state and independent.

Although Beehive is well known for its academic success, we are more than just Maths, English and 11+. We educate the whole child, through our shared values and vision.

As a Rights Respecting Silver Award School with the Gold Award in our sights, we support a range of charities and organisations throughout the year and play an active part in the local community. We value every member of our community and celebrate diversity.

Beyond the classroom, we use the local environment and all that London has to offer as an extension of our learning. One week the children might be exploring life cycles at Forest School, the next listening to a member of the House of Lords via Teams, and the following week sketching in the National Portrait Gallery.
