Learning Support

At Beehive Prep School, we recognise that children learn in different ways and at different levels.

We are not a selective prep school, so we take very seriously our responsibility of ensuring that all children reach their potential.

We acknowledge that for some children to do this, additional or different provision needs to be provided.

Additional Learning Support is not included in the basic tuition fee, however, by arrangement it is possible for parents to fund their children to have:

• access to specialist assessments
• One-to-One specialist teacher support
• small group support in the class room
• small group intervention support

If a parent has any concerns about their child, in the first instance we encourage parents to discuss with their Class Teacher. Alternatively, an appointment can be requested with Miss Richards, the school’s Learning Support Co-Ordinator.

EHC Plans

At Beehive Prep School we do not have the provision to accept new children under an EHC plan.

We are reviewing this currently (Jan 2015) and will keep you updated.  For any further information, please contact the Headteacher.
